Chicken Soup for the Coffee Lover's Soul

I just heard that I was accepted into Chicken Soup for the Coffee-Lover's Soul.

Everyone who knows me, realizes I'm passionate about coffeee--can't wake up without it. And for someone who has more coffee stories than you can imagine, it was a thrill to have my favorite "coffee tale" accepted: "Touched by a Coffee-Loving Angel." I'm not sure if they'll be serving my special brew in heaven, but this cup of coffee literally saved my life!

Look for it in stores in the fall, although it's available for pre-order now at Amazon.com.

If you have a coffee story, you would like to share, feel free to send it to me at conniepombo@hotmail.com, and whoever has the most hillarious or heart-wrenching story, I'll be sure to send you an autographed copy when it's available.

Passionately yours,

Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving me a comment on my Dreamin' meme. My husband, who is 74, and I, who am 69, have been & are blessed with wonderful health and I'm believing for it to continue. I truly believe in living each day to the fullest and we have lived our lives in just that way.

I was happy to hear your success story about your cancer and wanted to come over & meet you.

Congratulations about having a piece in the upcoming book!!!

What a blessing--wonderful health! It's something we take for granted until it's taken away from us.

I speak at the Weekend of Hope in Stowe, VT each year, where I first found my passion for writing. Sometimes we need to see life through "new" eyes, and cancer gave me a second look at life!

Yes, Chicken Soup, how funny--never thought of it with "coffee." LOL

Blessings and Hugs to you!

P.S. I enjoy your blog, your zest for life, and your "pen-full" thoughts!

Hey Connie, nice book cover. And chicken soup and coffee? Hmmm... congradulations again my friend, officially. I love your story (since I got a sneak peak) but will have to buy the book once out. BTW - this is one of the first books we're not in together... but since I'm not a coffee drinker, I guess that explains why I didn't sumbit - LOL! Anyhow, keep writing my friend, you amaze me with every book project you work on. You have the "midas touch" of writing to touch the heart and soul of people.

I know what book you should be in: Chicken Soup for the Hot Chocolate Lover's Soul--that's you--isn't it? They have suggestions on the website for future books, I think you should list it as a future book! I have a recipe that was given to me by my mom for homemade hot cocoa...there's nothing quite like it...I'm sure you can think of a gazillion stories!
